In the Field | The ICF Build

Surveyor markers had been placed in preparation for the beginning of site work.

Before the excavator could get up and running, our team met the clients on-site for a ceremonial ground-breaking, where the homeowner had the honor of digging the first hole himself.

Even though it appears the project is just beginning, a lot of work has been done behind the scenes to lay the foundation, for the foundation 😉 and we are just as an enthusiastic as the client to launch this project into the construction phase.

At the end of it, this wonderful family will have a beautiful and energy efficient custom home.

We will be using a new building method utilizing ICF and I am looking forward to building with this product.

It was a delicate process rejuvenating 120 year old stucco using traditional European applications.

A living finish, the exterior will gain beauty as it continues to age. The stucco was tinted to gain its color, but will never be painted in order to ensure the breathability and longevity of the product.

A smaller space, packed with intentional touches of design including iceberg marble slab seating in the steam shower, brass finishes, curated tile, and custom millwork.

Last weekend one of our recent tenant fit-out projects opened to the public.
@the_hummus_shop located on Charles St. in the heart of Boston, is now open and serving their Mediterranean style menu.

Commercial projects for passionate business owners is always a joy for me.

Working in Boston was a fun challenge and I'm looking forward to more commercial spaces in the city as we continue #buildingforward

The Converted Mill Renovation has made great strides, if you couldn't tell. 😉

Last week we completed

☑️Office light installation
☑️Passed the electrical inspection
☑️Installed closet doors
☑️Atrium painted
☑️Doors painted and installed on bookcase

This week our focus is
⬜ Installation of LEDs
⬜ Installation of ceiling tiles
⬜ Cabinet hardware
⬜ Completing flooring installation

A couple weeks ago I got to meet with professional photographer, David West, out in Newton, Massachusetts to photograph our exterior work for this extensive project.

After chasing some sunlight, we ended the day with a twilight shot, that I’m looking forward to dropping next week.
